Re: Monte Carlo: The Dirt Return

Finally.

I hope he manages to defend all his points (or better win them all ) despite the schedule.

Life is boring without (Rafa's) fist-pumping.

Re: Monte Carlo: The Dirt Return

I agree.. He is closer to No. 1 spot!!!! Vamos Rafa!!!!

Djokovic after his Madrid 2009 Semi with Rafa: “Next time I’ll probably take two rackets on the match point and try to hit with both of them. It’s frustrating that when you play so well you can’t win.”

Phew!

Is it poor form to hope that Novak has a really shitty run on clay this season?

Because I do.

Re: Monte Carlo: The Dirt Return

Dirt is for 4-wheeling.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

You're just saying that because if Spain and US advance they gonna play on 4 inches of clay, no?

Re: Monte Carlo: The Dirt Return

MC is starting in 2 days. No MIT anymore? Is it over? Or nobody doubts the outcome therefore no use for MIT during clay season?

When I'm good, I'm very good...but when I'm bad, I'm better

yeah, where is the MIT? well in case it goes ahead, put me down for Nadal to win ... Which is obvious considering Nadal has won 107 matches out of 110 in the past 3 seasons on clay.

Regarding the draw ... Nice one: Djokovic on Federer's side je je

Re: Monte Carlo: The Dirt Return

Metis has been AWOL. But she is back now

Put me down for SF.

The draw is ridiculously bottom heavy. Davydenko's quarter is pretty tough, and Ferrer is probably the hardest QF opponent Rafa could have drawn. Nole's quarter is a cakewalk, unless Murray shows some clay form.
