Don't make this complicated, Juan Carlos, please! I was a bundle of nerves in their last match at the US Open, even when Ferrero had the two set lead.
I wouldn't say he sucked, or if he did, that fact was overshadowed by Ferrero's abominable performance, but he certainly didn't play well in the first set. Eugh, that match will forever give me nightmares. *shiver*

Congrats Billabong, now you have the right idea - these game by game descriptions do notch up the posts very quickly...

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Wednesday Scores

Oh, have I mentioned how nice a venue this is? They should have a yearly tournament in Houston because its really nice. Kind of reminds me of Indian Wells. Only problem is the shitty weather.

Well then, I'm actually releaved that ESPN didn't cover that match on Day 1. Of course, the reason for that was because they instead showed live coverage of the women's final, which was equally nightmarish for me. 2 games, Amelie?!

Are we in some sort of competition? If so, you'll never catch me.

Re: Wednesday Scores

Ferrero's serve has seriously been up and down these past couple months. He seemed to be serving well in Madrid, but, according to him, he served horribly in his Paris loss to Novak and to Nalbandian the other day. But today is a different story, thankfully. :d

The stadium reminds you of Indian Wells?

They do have a yearly tournament in Houston now. The U.S. Claycourt championships have been played there for about 3 years now.

The scoreboard isn't working for me, so scores are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know why but this stadium gives me a similar vibe.

Oh, true. I forgot about the U.S. Claycourt Champs. Well, they should scrap the clay and keep this court.
