Re: Friday live scores

The last games were pathetic, Roger would purposedly hit his volleys wide.

Re: Friday live scores

Congrats Tim. TL, why would Roger purposely miss shots? Isnt' he a fighter?

Re: Friday live scores

The lone win Federer has over Henman was due to Tim's retirement. One would have thought that Roger would have a great shot at this post-shoulder surgery Tim indoors. But helas!

Well done Tim! Now please fold nicely tomorrow against Andy, will ya!

Because he's too good to be beaten by anyone. He loses on purpose when he's not that interested.

Re: Friday live scores

Roger is not a fighter.
He was very passive the last time he was defeated by David, and today he was very passive during the second set.

Re: Friday live scores

all the quotes coming out from Federer's post-match press conference deal with his mental breakdown. He's GOT to get some help for that.

Smile

I wish I could say it was a shock

I don't know whats going on with Roger but he needs some serious down time, he looked in control in 1st set then it was as if someone had sucked out all his energy, he looked the same against Verkerk and even in the 2nd round match he looked jaded.
Great to see his racket hit the floor (even though that signalled defeat) at least it was good to see some anger in him.
I'll always support Federer because he has caught my imagination for tennis again and when he is on form he is incredible to watch.
I just hope he can build on this defeat and remember he is the Wimbledon champion (and will be again)
