Re: Qualifying Draw

Bautista saved 15-40 to hold for 5-4!!! Hit an ace at 30-40 down. That's gonna be a huge hold. He's got a great chance to break for the win.

Re: Qualifying Draw

VAMOS!!!!!!!! Bautista-Agut def. Lorenzi 5-7 6-4 7-5

Over three hours. Both faced 11 break points but Bautista saved 7, Lorenzi six. That's how close it was here. Third set Bautista starting holding much more comfortably by the middle of the set whereas Lorenzi was struggling in his service games, so Lorenzi's trip to Guadalajara and long match yesterday looks like it caught up with him. At least the trash has EXITED Miami

Re: Qualifying Draw

Lorenzi is first in line for a LL spot based on the new rankings, so the "trash" has probably not exited Miami

I do believe they go by the new rankings now that they are out, and not the seedings which were based on last week's rankings

Re: Qualifying Draw

Arno has a good shot with Dudi. ERV probably can beat Malisse if X-Man lacks motivation, especially since he beat him in Australia even though X-Man retired. Veic vs Kudla sucks because that was one of the easiest qualifiers, and I wanted a favorite to get it. Haas isn't 100% so that's good opportunity for Rufin.

As long as Bolelli and Phau avoid GULBIS AND CHARDY and don't play each other, I'll be happy.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Nice. Simone should beat Ramos. Ramos lacks weapons. Then Lopez is definitely another potential win. I like that draw for Simone, but he has to serve well to beat Ramos because Ramos can break him.

I love the draw for Bjorn. Must win match vs Berlocq. Verdasco is a level too far, though. Nando is motivated in Miami.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Frank has a good chance vs Chardy if he serves well. And I think Raji Ram can beat GGL, I don't think GGL likes players who come at like like Rampras can. Hopefully Guillermo wins, though.
