Re: Europe/Africa Group II 2nd Round: Finland at Ireland (April 5-7, 2013)
Was there watching today, in case anyone is brain dead and needs to be told, Nieminen won his match easily. His opponent O'Brien is like 90% retired and pretty much just a club player now so, yeah.
Harri played very well in a 4 and a half hour match, he has a lot of variety in his game. McGee look absolutely crushed afterwards. It's a double disappointment for him because he has been climbing the rankings a bit lately and getting to play someone ranked as high as Jarkko would have been a good test for him, but now Finland will probably wrap up the tie tomorrow and Jarkko won't play the dead rubber.
Meanwhile, Ireland's best doubles player (ranked 187 - not exactly a Bryan brother but miles better than anyone else on the team in that department) is off playing a random Challenger for no reason.
