He did before, he was ranked 1103 about three years ago. He won a challenger match that year actually, 6-1 6-0.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

that challenger was even wierder than this futures in cuba. I think it was in Rimouski, and there was no qualifying due to the lack of entries, and the first seed had a bye in the main draw.

so i guess he uses his opportunities when he has some...

Oh did not know that
It just seems like he has so much trouble winning even future qualies matches so good for him that he can finally be ranked again. Good luck to him in the next round

I might go watch that because my friend Alek Salweirz is playing in it. If I do, I'll take some pics and vids for you guys.

you get 9, but he has used way more than 3, Newport, Wimbledon Qualies, US Open Qualies(I think), at least 3 challengers. I was actually kind of suprised he still had another PR left to enter AO with(not that it will make a difference, the cut likely won't get that low). I'll try and check how many he has used, but I'm thinking including this one it's at least 7 or 8 used

Re: Canadian players

This is what he's entered with his PR

Newport
US Open Qualies
Mons CH
Rennes CH
Orleans CH
Bratislava CH
Helsinki CH
Chennai

He now has only 1 left which is currently being used as potential to get directly into the AO, but if the cut doesn't get as far down as 119 he'll get that back, but I believe he has to use all his PR's in the 9 months after his injury so he only has about another 1-2 months to use it I think

Re: Canadian players

Milos lost to Almagro in an exhibition tournament in Bilbao (Spain). Final result was 6-4 6-7 (1) 7-6 (4). Obviously a win would be better, but this result against a Top 20 like Almagro seems good. I've belief he will qualify for AO. All the results are here http://www.mtbb.es/ , and in this other there are qualifying tournament results where Milos won his 3 matches without dropping a set (anyway except for Navarro I don't know the other players) http://www.mtbb.es/pag/50/la-fase-previa.html
