Re: Canadian players

Milos Though getting broken in his first game in both sets wasn't exactly a great way to start.

Hopefully he avoids Dolgopolov in the draw. The other three matches aren't too bad, with Soeda probably the easiest, though obviously that'd get him Davydenko next.

Re: Canadian players

And I believe if he get Vasselin, he would get Soderling in the second round

Re: Canadian players

I believe I remember reading somewhere that he was committed to going to college in the states, because it was important to his parents, but at the last second he pulled out. It must be extra motivation to play good and prove to his parents that he didn't do the wrong move.

Re: Canadian players

Well, he was signed up to go to college - I don't know if it was to please his parents, or because that seemed like the best route, but obviously he was tempted by the possibility of going straight to a pro career.

I met his father - he seemed very supportive and level-headed about it all, not looking like he would be particularly putting pressure in any direction.

No, not to Milos, just his father.

Re: Canadian players

Milos gets Kunitsyn. The best spot in terms of the second round, but it seems like Kunitsyn's been pretty solid in challengers recently, should be a tough one for Milos.

I guess Milos couldn't have gotten a better draw?

Re: Canadian players

Hmm, Kunitsyn... I bet Freddie will have a suggestion or two for Milos on how to get the job done.

Re: Canadian players

I was going to mention that, when Fred beat him last year in his match in Montreal but you beat me to it.

Re: Canadian players

Kunitsyn is a winnable match for sure, would have prefered Roger-Vasselin or Soeda but at least it isn't Dolgopolov

Milos

Now let's just hope they'll put him on centre court so we get a stream!

I'm very glad to hear Milos won. I admit I had my doubts, but I'm glad he proved me wrong!

I doubt it will be on a centre court though.. Doesn't only the best players play there? Anhyways.. I'd be happy just to see him play. He doesn't need to get the centre court, any court that is streamed would be good!

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.
