Re: Canadian players

I believe Ito was on a bit of a run this summer as well, so this is a pretty good win for Milos if he get it

Re: Canadian players

What I meant to say is that we were the only two watching the livescore?

Re: Canadian players

Milos seems to have a good head on him. When he lost that first service game of the second set, he didn't panic at all and broke back immediately. Ito also had breakpoints on his second service game of the second and he held there and then it was pretty much game over for Ito. Milos seems like has the best mental fortitute of all Canadians right now, with Bester in second right now

Re: Canadian players

Ok, so he got it finished. He really needs to work on serving out a match - what's with this throwing in lots of DFs right at the end?

I agree that getting a win in the MD is not so important. I am guessing that his main goal is to get experience playing at the ATP level. So I am most keen to see him play a good match against a top opponent, even if he loses.

Re: Canadian players

Did anyone on this forum see this coming from Milos a few years ago?
It's not like he was a high ranking junior or anything?
Do you think he is really that much better with Niemeyer...he must be either one hell of a good coach or one hell of a motivator. I would say his parents are too since he skipped education to play pro ball.
