Re: Canadian players

Monroe beat Diez in Toronto, 7-6, 6-1. Will be back later with some sort of report and pics.

I disagree, I think that his raw talent will be able to outplay the lower ranked players, even if he is rusty, and out of form. I have del Potro in that quarterfinals.

I'd be happy to se him in the Top 300 when the year ends. Top 250 may be too much to ask, but you never know. It's not impossible, so we'll see
Bester has actually had a tad of success in the challenger level already.

Yeah, I agree with you there.

Unfortunately not - he is defending 13 points this week, so he is going to be dropping down in the rankings on Monday as he only earned 6 points at the Thai Challenger. I figure if he qualifies he will get himself to about 182.

Ugh.. Seems like Peter is doomed to always stay at around 200 in the rankings

They let him play tennis once after they saw his "consistency is everything" advertisement.

Man this is looking really sweet for Milos. Ito just lost the first set by a count of 6-1

Re: Canadian players

Nice Jinx, Ito won the last 2 sets 6-2 6-1

But if Ito struggles like that against the doubles specialist, then that bodes well for Milos

Re: Canadian players

Seem's like a serving show between the two. Both have won 93% of points on 1st serve. Difference being Raonic has hit 78% of firsts, whereas Lipsky is only around 50%

Re: Canadian players

I was just thinking it would be nice if Raonic moved it along more quickly in 2nd set and he complies by breaking. He only lost 3 points on serve in 1st.

Re: Canadian players

Either Lipsky just folded in the second or Milos just destroyed him.

Don't say that. There is a reason Hutchins isn't a singles player...
