As for his chances of winning in France, let's be honest, he should win the damn thing.
I like the sound of that

And yes, they do develop at different rates, and some develop later than others. Doesn't mean they're any less of a player. It just means it takes them loger to reach their best level and to be consistent.

Seriously, Bester seems to be on an amazing run, so I'm hoping to see some more good stuff from him! Dancevic is also playing really good it seems. So at least there's some good stuff coming from the Canadian players, even though others kinda disappoint (Pospisil, Ponalsky etc).

I don't know if someone answered my question, I don't think so, but I'll ask again.. What do you guys think about the qualifying draw for Milos and Peter? Good draws? Difficult draws? Do you think either of them has a chance of qualifying? Or are they doomed? Please, I want to know what you think. I'm not very familiar with the lower-ranked players, other than like Giraldo, De Bakker, Nishikori etc.

They let him play tennis once after they saw his "consistency is everything" advertisement.

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

well Raonic has a really good chance of qualifying amongst a weak qualification group. All he has to do is beat the number 2 seed Ito, and he's in bascially. I'd hope the others don't give him any problems.

Polansky's draw on the other hand is a bit rougher. First he has to play a Thai player who will have all of the support behind him. So if you can just imagine Polansky playing in Canada, that kind of step up. Next it's either another Thai, or a former Top 5 Junior, who I believe made it to a Grand Slam final, I could be wrong, I know he played some doubles though. Last round is either Number 2 seed Dodig, Joshua Goodall (doubt it will be him), Rieshick, who beat Polansky this week, or Nielsen who had some result this week. In other words it will be tough, but I think he could probably pull through if he's playing well.

Re: Canadian players

peter should make the final round if qualifying in which case i would think his opponent is ivan dodig or sebastian reischick...i'm sorry to say i dont see him qualifying against either one of them.

milos will qualify..no way he wont, that qualifying draw is rediculously weak

Re: Canadian players

Dodig will be hard, but he retired last week with illness so who knows, maybe he doesn't even make it that far. Peter will have a harder time than Milos though, I really like his chances.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Canadian players

Thanks for the replies guys. Just as I suspected then.. I just had a feeling he would get a difficult draw,he always does! Will he get any points at all for reaching round 2 of the qualifying? Or will he only get points for reaching the MD?

Good news that Milos should have it easier though. I'm glad, but also kinda worried. Because I don't think he's really played THAT well lately. The Canadians playing well nowadays are Bester and Dancevic imo. Milos and Peter are, well, inconsistent to say the least..

peter and milos are inconsistent for sure
they always bring their best tennis to canada where, aside from the rogers cup they always tend to do well.

Re: Canadian players

dancevic
duclos and chvojka both lost in 3 sets, and i think duclos got a few match points of his own but gave them up. terrible day for canadians.

only good part is diez, who got in the semis with a 3 set win over evans (evans retired at 3-0 in the third set).
