Re: Daniel Nestor

Interesting to see Nestor and Adil Shamasdin playing doubles together in Newport this week. Davis cup move?

Re: Daniel Nestor

No chance in hell Adil is even on te roster unless Vasek is hurt, Vasek just won Winbledon and is an option as a singles player too

Re: Daniel Nestor

on a healthy roster no. With one or two injuries (or Nestor's retirement), Shamasdin could very well be in the mix

I think it would have been with Pospisil id he didn't have the awesome Wimbledon run. Zimnojic also won the mixed doubles title in Wimbledon so he may be taking the week off as well.

They were on the original entry list so I think this was planned.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Came up short today and lost in the semifinals for his twenty fifth (!) consecutive Canadian Open participation.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Why is Nestor playing Winston Salem at all, but especially with Bopanna?

Re: Daniel Nestor

Best of luck in 2015 with Bopanna. On another note, the ATP site just claimed that the Bryan brothers are the first to complete the career golden masters, but I'm pretty sure Nestor did that already. Maybe they're excluding him because he did it with different partners.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Congratulations on title number 86! In Sydney, with Bopanna against Rojer and Tecau. This never gets old.

Congratulations on title number 87! In Dubai, with Bopanna against Qureshi and Zimonjic. He never gets old. Best of luck against Japan in a week.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Feel so strange with this match with ex-partners playing vs each other. But guess they are used to. At leat Nestor partnership with Bopanna works better than Zimojic and Qureshi who are spitting up after this.

nice article from the COC.

I have a hunch that Nestor is holding out for one more olympic games and 2 more davis cup runs. I can see him retiring in December 2016
