Re: Daniel Nestor

Nestor and Zimonjic won a hard 3 setters vs Fyrstenberg and Matkowski. Nestor served for the match in second set, got tight and lost serve. Eventually lost the set in TB. Finally got the job done in third set.

They played like they were never parted for the last two years so it's good.

Re: Daniel Nestor

First match on RLA.

Canadians star on RLA today. First Dan then Genie.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Nestor still in (and with great chances!) for both doubles & mixed ... could add to his already impressive 11 GS titles.

Re: Daniel Nestor

At least Dan gets the mixed doubles with Mladenovic. She's the MVP of the match though but Dan was pretty good too.

6-3 6-2 Broke their opponents twice in both sets.

Re: Daniel Nestor

It's a pity he couldn't get the doubles titles; he was within striking distance. Winning the mixed is a nice consolation.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Anyone knows what is up with Dan?

I saw Zimonjic practiced with other players but not Dan. Actually I saw lots of doubles teams practice except this pair.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Nestor with another win. Not sure how he does this forever but he somehow does. He re-enters the top 10 of doubles.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Daniel Nestor

Outstanding win in a Masters Series event. Does anyone know where I can find doubles head to head statistics? Before he played the Bryans at the US Open I think someone said he was even against them. He is 1-2 since then.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Ageless Nestor! With today's win, his record against the Bryan brothers is now 28-28.
With Zimonjic: 11-7
With Pospisil: 0-1
With Lindstedt: 1-0
With Mirnyi: 3-2
With Knowles: 9-17
With Stolle: 2-1
With Lareau: 2-0
I did this manually, so there may be mistakes.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Nestor seems to be the one guy that really gives those two problems. He's right back on top again with Zimonjic after the off year last season.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Tough loss in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Paes improves to 14-23 against Nestor. They have been playing each other for twenty years.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Lost in the mixed semifinals. Nice to go deep in two different draws, but I'm sure men's doubles is more important to him.
