Re: Daniel Nestor

surprised to hear about Nestor's trouble with humidity if he resides in the Bahamas. I hope he and Vasek can get some doubles titles somewhere.

He's 40 years old... c'mon!

There's a difference with humidity when you're playing right on or near the ocean, and New York humidity, which is the one thing I despise about living here

A friend of mine was at Fenway yesterday and posted a picture of the skyline, it was brutal there so no surprise it was brutal in New York. It's been bad in Toronto lately, too, and just knocks you out.

yeah I know, I've been to Nassau. there's always a breeze and it doesn't feel as oppressive as in Toronto (though I always figure part of the reason you're less bothered is that you're so happy to be on vacation & far away from work).

Absolutely! I spend the Labour Day weekend in NYC visiting the open and the humidity was BRUTAL.

Got to see quite a bit of Canadian content (Raonic vs Lopez, then Gasquet), and Daniel both in mixed and men's doubles.

Took a few pics, if anyone's interested, here's my photo index: http://tennisfashionfix.blogspot.ca/...oto-index.html

Re: Daniel Nestor

Great win against Serbia, in the "battle of the teams that won 15-13 in the Davis Cup quarterfinals". I'd say this makes up for the US Open debacle. Enjoy the show from the sidelines tomorrow Daniel, unless Martin decides to put you in the singles.

What a great performance, especially because he didn't fade.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Nestor playing with Paes in China ... so probably for rest of year. But they would pretty near need to win every tournament to get into London. Was actually hoping Daniel would partner with Vasek a few times and have Pops get his doubles ranking up a bit.

He might be playing with Paes because Vasek is injured.

Re: Daniel Nestor

Both are old and slipping. The feuding may continue out of frustration with poor results. Or maybe they both just enjoy what's left of the ride a bit more, let go and get on

Re: Daniel Nestor

Have I mentioned how glad I am that Nestor/Zimonjic are together again? They are playing really well and, oh yeah, the Bryans are out of the Aussie Open in the third round!
