Haha, Arctic Air is going to be renewed for a 2nd season. I only watch the show because of Adam Beach and its native tones. I'm part native, it only makes sense to watch it.

You guys are good at hockey, I picked you guys to be 4th in your division from the start, had me scared after three games but it's looking likely now.

well.. "good" is taking it a bit far, but we are getting better It would be nice to reach the quarterfinals again. I would be super happy if we managed that

Hockey is a growing sport in Norway, it's only getting more and more popular, and now with some good results for our national team at the worlds, it's looking pretty good for the future of Norwegian hockey. I am optimistic! We have a really good coach, and the guys are doing their best, even if we don't have many professional players like Canada, Sweden or Russia.. they play with their hearts, and that's what matters! A lot of hard work and dedication And I think we have played better this year than last year. We're improving year after year, winning more matches, and I think we can reach even further in the future! I think Norwegian hockey has a lot of potential. Granted.. still a long way to go up to teams like Canada, USA, or Russia, but we have played some really good matches against those countries even if we ended up losing.. and hell, we now have wins over both Sweden and Germany.. two very good teams I might add so yeah.. Norwegian hockey does have a lot of potential in the future, because we are improving year after year

I would say top 8 in the world is good, I would be happy if Canada was top 8 in the world in tennis.

Re: Off Topic Chat Thread

I was readin on a hockey forum about a young player from Norway. First had youtube videos up when he was 6 I think. he's something like 12 now, pretty insanely good for his age. Not sure if he'll progress enough to be a star or not. Name was Matthias Emilio Peterson I think. Not sure

Re: Off Topic Chat Thread

funny you should ask...

actually play tomorrow in my first tournament ever, in a tennis nova scotia over-35 event. likely will be hammered for a number of reasons, not least cause its on clay (har tru to be precise, it being here) and i've never stepped on a clay court let alone played on one (not public courts here are clay and I've never felt like I had the money to join a club).

I figure my cross-trainers that look like running shoes are a better bet than my court shoes, for sliding / not killing myself. will take both pairs and see...
