Re: Erik Chvojka

Chvojka wins again today, so after a couple of bad weeks, he is into the semifinal against Alex Bogdanovic.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Was thinking that Bogdanovic would be a great match-up as he won last week's Future and surely would be tired. Turned out to be the case, as he's withdrawn to give Erik the walkover win. His first ever singles final in a Challenger.

Erik will at least enter the mid/late 190s in the rankings. If he wins tomorrow, he will enter the mid/late 170s.

Erik's not playing Van Open. A little surprised but it's likely a good thing, that he gets a break before the Rogers Cup, where he won't get a main draw WC, will he?

Great for Erik. I was concerned he also pulled out here after the other pull out yesterday when it didn't show up on the live score

Re: Erik Chvojka

Yeah, a new career high ranking by some twenty (or forty, hopefully) places.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Damn rights, awesome. This is so cool that Erik is gonna enter the top 200. I didn't think it would happen but its going to happen! This just made my week, go Erik! He deserves a maindraw WC at the Rogers Cup. He's shown more form than Frank Dancevic.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Be surprised if Erik can pull this off (now tied a set apiece) - think Kudla would have a bit more in the tank, being younger. (Bodes well for Polansky though for his first round in Van, as he is due to play Kudla).

Re: Erik Chvojka

A bit a rest, with this form, with some luck with the draw and he will qualify for the RC.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Great result this week. Too bad the guys are in Toronto this year, I won't get to see Chvojka play in qualifying.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Unreal. a guy like Erik shouldn't be losing to mugs like Kudla. Disapointing.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Toughest draw of the Canadians I think. Mannarino will be tough in R1, if he gets threw it, probably Meffert who is tough at the US Open during qualifying. Top seed in this section is Bachinger but Ilhan or Zverev could also be in the final round. Very tough.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Agree with Snowwy - worst draw of all the Canucks. Dont see him winning against Mannarino tomorrow. In any event, as he's up last I'll definitely be there
