Erik really seems to be progressing.

2eazy, do you know if Erik plans to try and move on to challengers?

Yes,he thought it was best that he doesnt go on the challenger circuit till he gets direct entry into main draws its to risky to travel to destination with the possibility of not getting 1$ or 1 point if he loses in the qualis espesially that he has zero moneytary help from tennis canada or any other sources. He has no points to defend till september he plans on playing futures in europe till end of june, he should have no trouble to get his ranking into the high 200s, then in july hes gonna play granby, the masters, take a few shots at some atp events, then finish off the year on the challenger circuit if the atp events dont work out

Not the most elegant strokes nor does he have any huge powerful weapons, but hes a lefty with a very good serve a very good forehand, absolute world class speed, world class athlete, great defense, great match player, i cant remember the last time he lost a bad match, i cant think of many guys that have as consistent results as him. I think its pretty amazing that he was able to get to this point with no real coach or any real support.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Erik really has all the tools from what you are saying to be a decent Challenger player. I can see him having a similar career path to Niemeyer

Yeah, he ALWAYS beats the players that he should.

Re: Erik Chvojka

That's too bad

I was under the impression that he was playing in Sweden next week too, but it appears he's not. Where is he next?

It was a good week for him though. At least he played past his seeding and made the finals
