Re: Erik Chvojka

Erik signed up for a challenger in Burnie, Australia. He will make direct entry. The entry list for this event is pretty mediocre and should be good for Erik to get a few wins. One thing I noticed with Erik is that he has a knack of choosing the right events to play in which would help him with his rankings.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Erik got a great draw, the only seeded player in his quarter is the 8 seed. Hope he can win a match or two this week.

Re: Erik Chvojka

A really surprising result for Erik who lost in R1 of Burnie 7-5 6-4 to Ti Chen.

He should have been able to get some wins in this tournament. This is a very poor result for Erik.

Re: Erik Chvojka

From what I watched on the live score he had trouble with his serves. He kept going down 15-40 then eventually winning but doing it the hard way.

Although he is seeded number one he did get kinda a tricky draw.

Re: Erik Chvojka

That is a strong field for a Futures. I wouldn't be surprised to see Erik go out very early in this tournament. But I also wouldn't be surprised to see him make the final.

Re: Erik Chvojka

not an easy first opponent at all in Millman.

But would be a good win for Erik!

Something interesting about Erik though is that he almost always beats players ranked lower than him.
