Re: Erik Chvojka

That's too bad, but as misty said, it was probably unlikely that he was going to go too far this week, so I guess its better to be sick this week than say last week.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Erik lost to Joshua Milton 6-4, 6-4 in the 2nd round

seems like the form he and pierre had earlier this summer is cooling off

Re: Erik Chvojka

erik had cramp issues in the 3rd its very unlike him, he is extremely fit. I think the issue that he doesnt drink any electrolytes he only drinks water during a match. Think he will be changing that after this match. Hes playing very well its unrealistic to expect he will win these kind of matches all the time, milton is a real good up and comming player ranked 300, i only expekt erik to win this match when hes playing well about 55-60% of the time. Tennis is a very streaky game where edges on the court are so small, wins come in batches. Hes also new to the challenger circuit, his progression at the challenger circuit has been quicker then i expected. Seems like duclos is playing a much more agressive style this year so i think its normal he will have more streaks then other players but i havent really seen enough of him to be sure of the change of style

Re: Erik Chvojka

He would have gotten into Tashkent which would be worth more, but hopefully he can capitalize on getting a qualifier in round 1 here
