Re: Canadian Doubles

So Nestor loses early again (this time in Miami). I wonder how long he will stick with Bhuphati? Pretty soon his ranking will take a dive.

They've split. Looks like it was Nestor's call http://www.dailymail.co.uk/indiahome...P-circuit.html
"Bhupathi wanted to continue with Nestor, but the latter decided to play with Swede Robert Lindstedt"

Re: Canadian Doubles

So Monte Carlo features two new "Canadian content" teams: Nestor & Lindstedt but also Milos & Bernard Tomic (6th alternate, so should make it in since there are 6 OS slots).

Re: Canadian Doubles

I don't know where Nestor found the energy to win a 15-13 set against Italy today. He's still experiencing new things after more than twenty years on tour. His first Davis Cup quarterfinal is certainly a memorable one. He won a World Group doubles match before, but that was when his opponents retired, and Canada ended up losing the tie (Nestor-Niemeyer d. Verkerk-Haarhuis 7-6, 1-0 ret. in 2004).

Re: Canadian Doubles

Lexington champs! Dancevic and Polansky played a wonderful match this evening. Running passing shots, incredible lobs... Klahn and Venus had won eleven straight matches together. The USTA's live stream is high quality.

Re: Canadian Doubles

Polansky and Shamasdin win Lexington, Pospisil wins Atlanta. Good week for Canadian doubles.

Re: Canadian Doubles

Two teams in the round of 16, but neither one of them went further. Not a good US Open for Canadian doubles.

Re: Canadian Doubles

Another doubles title for Vasek, this time with Zimonjic. Interesting to see Nestor playing with someone other than Nenad this week; I thought they would at least finish the season together. In Paris, Nestor is playing with Bopanna again and Pospisil is playing with Sock.
