Re: Phil Bester

Wow what the hell happened there, I didn't necessarily see him winning this match but this is really bad.

Re: Phil Bester

Says on the Roland Garros qualy list that Bester is out.

That's disappointing. Anyone know why? Is it the injury or did he just not want to make the trip?

Re: Phil Bester

I'm guessing it's an injury only because he is scheduled for challengers tournaments in Europe up until Wimbledon, but I can't be sure.

Re: Phil Bester

Looks like Bester is still injured as he has also withdrawn from the week of Challengers after the French Open.

Re: Phil Bester

Could it be a broken hand like Milos had a few years ago? I think Milos ended up missing like 7 or 8 weeks.

Re: Phil Bester

Must be pretty serious, he's also pulled out of Wimbledon qualies which he would have made the cut for!

Re: Phil Bester

I just saw something really weird, I was perusing the Entry lists for futures events and noticed that Bester is the top seed at USA F14. Is it possible that he cancelled his trip to Europe because he felt he was only going to play one tournament (Wimbledon)?

USA F14 is the week of Wimby Qualies.

Re: Phil Bester

Or maybe because he is coming back from injury?
