A really good draw as World Tour events go. After the WC, maybe a 35-65 chance against Paire, then the same chance to overcome Melzer, who could get knocked off by Muller though.

Um no, Melzer is a better player than both and is playing better right now than both, plus he always does well at this tourney, I know Vashy got a retirement win out of him recently, but that was a retirement, that wasn't Melzer at full power.

It looks like Vashy will be shown this time in 11 hours, hopefully the stream won't be removed again.

Great comeback! Next round vs Lorezi. He has his chances if serves well.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Nice win today as you can read about it on the main board from me, did not think it would be Lorenzi in the next match, another guy who mostly lives on clay, he just beat Paire though, so is not to be taken lightly.

Woohoo! Vashy wins! His chances against AHM were good I'd say. and he proved it! His chances against Lorenzi are good too. I say he makes a quarterfinal finish here.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

After losing to Lorenzi Vashy now plays Gimeno-Traver today to try and qualify for Valencia, tough match.

he wont qualify. Even if he gets past his first round he's not beating berankis/hajek

Re: Vasek Pospisil

I watched the score board when he was serving for the match and lost the serve on the first bp in the game after he saved all previous 7 BPs in the match. I stopped watching figured out he would lost

i just didntsee him qualifying through that section. Frankly getting past the first round was going to be difficult..i didnt think he would and he didnt

although he did serve for it so he almost proved me wrong

Hajek though would have been a very winnable match, unlike perhaps the other 2 players, I thought he had a decent chance in all except maybe Berankis, I don't know why you would think Hajek is better or so much better than him, cause he's not.
