Hey, the chances of you predicting this correctly just keep on. Vasek now the favourite, though Yani is almost playing at home as he's from Singapore, if I'm not mistaken.
Yep, he was born in SP. Pospisil is the favorite, but Yani just beat Baker, so he's not to be taken lightly, Pops can't afford to take anyone lightly now anyway, as he's at the end of his tour level DE rope.
Earlier I said I thought he had improved alot, but now I'm not so sure at least about some aspects, before his game was an aggressive power baseliner where his balls landed deep in the court, now it seems most of that has gone away, he's got like a very different game now, he hits like either a weaker FH or one with some sort of spin or slice on it, the balls are now landing halfway in the court, for me he needs to bring some more aggressive play and power back, cause he's looking like more of a pusher and less of the player he was these days, he's suited to play a big game, I don't know what happened to the Vasek at the start of the season, I miss that guy.
probably will face Monaco next, he faired pretty well against Monaco last time in Toronto, hopefully this time the chair umpire won't be as leniant with regards to the coaching from the stands that Monaco gets and he can win this one
Vasek did nothing on Monaco's serve in set 1, but in set 2 he had 15-30 in Monaco's 1st service game, 0-30 in his 2nd, and 15-40 in his 4th, and 30 all in the 5th game. He should have broken at least once that set, it's too bad that he didn't
