Re: Vasek Pospisil

Right now it seems the most he can manage is to win every other service game.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Hopefully he is being strengthened by the memory of beating Chela from a break down in the 3rd.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Vashy has miraculously rediscovered his serve! Only lost two points in the last 3 service games.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Looks like it is updating fast now. Vasek had MP at 5-4*, couldn't convert, then held, onto a TB.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

okay so apparently he had match point but zemjla saved it and now its 5-5

the scoreboard was frozen for a long time so the match could already be over

tiebreaker

its catching up to itself now

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Fastest TB ever as the scoreboard catches up

Vasek up 4*-3, then a minibreak exchange, MP for Vasek at 6*-5.

And he gets it

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Awesome, definitely looked like he was done down a break in the third, great fight to come back. Very well deserved debut in a GS for Vasek after a strong season.

Some tough qualy spots, but some good ones too. I think any of Haas, Haider-Maurer, Qualifier, Young, Rosol, Ginepri, De Bakker, Rochus or Mahut would be decent for either Frank or Vasek.
