Time for Peter to turn things around - maybe getting his own thread will help
Peter has never displayed anywhere near the consistency to consider him top 100 material. A win over Melzer or Monaco here and there - many others have posted similar results and failed to install themselves in the top 100. Before we can even think Peter is top 100 material, he's got to prove first over several months he can post consistent, good results at the challenger level.
He needs to go back to futures for a while imo. He needs to start winning matches again, to gain confidence. And that certainly isn't happening on the challenger level.
Well, it's been pretty grim for him so far this year, but hopefully he turns a corner soon. He apparently has a new coaching situation and seems to be spending a lot of time in Barcelona too - maybe these changes will start to pay off.
Well.. at least that's a good sign. It shows he's not happy with how he's currently doing, and wants to improve. Hopefully this is the start of something!
Actually, I believe its been 50 years since a plane has crashed due to lightning hitting it in North America. Pretty impressive engineering. That said, apparently it is still scary for the occupants of the plane.
This is where things tend to go south for him though so lets hope he keeps it together. Might be fitting in a year where he can't accomplish anything that he gets a win on grass
