Alright, but you must like something about him or his game for this to be so.

its weird, because i was at french open qualies this year, and trust me that match vs kudla was the best tennis i ve seen him playing by far, and i thought he would start to win a lot afterwards. but he failed to do that, had a pretty ugly loss in qr1 in wimbledon and is slumping mostly now. he could even not make the cut into us open qualies...first time in how many years? i mean, its really sad. i think he is talented enough

Re: Peter Polansky

I remember a few years back when Peter upset Juan Monaco at the US Open and went to the second round, I really thought Peter was on to better things and was going to rise up to the top 100 ranks but it hasn't happened. So disappointing. I wish he could do. He used to qualify for Grand Slams on a regular basis a few years back but these past couple of years, he can't get it done.

Polansky comes back from 26 76 61. Saved match point at 54 second set. And was down 04 in the TB.

Quigley is one of those under ranked American college players. He got the job done.

Re: Peter Polansky

Quigley was inspired by a home UK crowd (atmosphere like a college match). Polansky started flat but raised his level as his opponent's dropped. Hopefully he found a bit of form to carry over. Playing doubles this week with Frank too should sharpen his play a bit; with Frank out of the singles I think he'll go full out in the doubles and Peter will feed off this.

A win is certainly a win as far as Polansky is concerned.
