Polansky barely beat him in a Futures match last year, it was 3 sets and Peter won 2 TB's.

I'm kinda rooting for Peliwo, he needs the points more I'd say, it's obvious by now that Peter won't get his act together and will never be more than a top 300-150 player.

Re: Peter Polansky

pete really needs more the points. he would not make it into slam qualies for the first time in many years....he is struggling and slumping like there is no tomorrow. pepe has still a lot of time there...

In that way he does, but Peliwo needs them more to start playing CH events.

They played almost two years ago and it was 76 in the 3rd set TB, I think this match isn't as sure for PP as it might seem

Re: Peter Polansky

Pepe is also struggling by the looks of it; 3 setters regardless who he plays.

He's up 6-3, 2-0 on Peliwo right now before rain came and stopped play.

Re: Peter Polansky

I really thought Peter would crack top 100 in his career but it doesn't seem like it at this point. He's struggling big time this season and I previously thought he would turn it around.

I think what's maybe done him in is that hard fall he had in Mexico at a hotel a few years ago, sad, it's hard to say for sure how good he would have been.

Re: Peter Polansky

He has no weapon. He does not have enough power on his groundstrokes or serve. He does not have the consistancy for clay or defensive tennis.

He's still your favorite player in light of all this, ok.

What is it about his game that you like then?
