Re: Peter Polansky

Peter has a history of playing well above his ranking at the Open - when he qualified both other times he was ranked in the 200s (not to mention taking Monaco out in straight sets in R1 in 2010).

Re: Peter Polansky

Peter should qualify, I feel really good about his chances now, his draw was pretty easy from the start and it totally opened up when Zeballos lost, it would be a real dissapointment to lose to Authom now, though it's definately possible.

He better not lose - so many winnable matches in the MD for qualifiers this year

Re: Peter Polansky

You never can tell whether he'll win, but he'll definitely have a leg up with coffee there to cheer him on.

And thank you, Peter, for saving the honour of the Canadian guys at the US Open qualies!

Re: Peter Polansky

and there it is

6-0, 6-2 authom

i dont know if authom was on fire or not but even if he was playing well there is just no excuse for this. Truly a disgusting perofrmance to only hold serve once in the entire match

Holy cow, what a terrible loss by Peter. Ugh, I'm not sure how I can take this loss.

Re: Peter Polansky

Interesting had Peter won today a winnable match over Phau would have meant a certain Arthur Ashe apperance against Federer in R2.

Same with Frank - one win against Dutra Silva would have meant an Ashe appearance against Djokovic.

Oh well...
