Re: Peter Polansky

What sucks is sometimes the main draw guys wait until after the Q draw is released to withdraw from the main draw.

isn't there 1 more WC to hand out? wouldn't that player come off the qualies list, making it 1(assuming roberdo doesn't withdraw in time)

Re: Peter Polansky

Peter is next in.

As long as Guccione or Jones gets the last WC, he's in even without another withdrawl

once he gets in, we will have PLD, Erik, Vasek and him in qualies, plus Milos in the MD. I can't remember the last time we had this many Canucks in qualies in a long time.

LOL it was the LAST Australian Open when we had Bester, Vasek, Dancevic, Polansky and Milos in the qualifying.

Re: Peter Polansky

Aussie Open qualies draw is out. Peter got a great draw imo. Vagnozzi in round 1 is one he should win. Genesse is very winnable, one of the better seeds he could have draw. Big match potentially with against bthe massive Brandwagon which will be tough in round 3. Winninjg 2 matches is very possible for him, and on a good day maybe 3

Gotta say - Peter's destiny is in his own hands. Brands could be trouble, but Peter on a good day could win that match 6-2 6-2. Lets hope he repeats his 2010 qualifying exploits.

Re: Peter Polansky

Good luck to Peter, he's got a decent draw, can definitely make it past Gensse and Brands if he plays well.

I feel the same way. If Peter really wants this, I say he can qualify but if he's kinda going through the motions, I don't see him winning any matches. He can't afford to play like he did when he attempted to qualify for Wimbledon last season. He's got to be strong mentally. No more choking.
