Re: Peter Polansky

Great win from Peter. Has he ever been to a challenger final before?

Nope he has not. It would be a great way to end the season.

Re: Peter Polansky

Looks like on Peter's twitter he says that he will play Oz open qualies. We will have a good contingent of Canadian players there it seems!

i doubt he gets in. The sign for this years aussie ends in 30 min and so far the cutoff is around 260, that's a lot lower then previous years. Guys always drop out, im guessing the last cut will be around 275-280. Hopefully he gets lucky

Re: Peter Polansky

Hopefully Peter, Erik, Pierre, Vasek, Frank can all play in Oz qualies. I mean, whens the last time we would've had that many Canadians in a Grand Slam? my answer: 1988 Wimbledon. seriously. This is the first time in a long time we had this many Canadians all within the Oz open qualies range.

Re: Peter Polansky

Actually, I'm of the opinion that Peter will have a really good year next year and potentially crack top 100. He has yet to reach his full playing potential in my opinion.

That's great to hear! Hopefully this is the year where he can turn it all around, and start to get back in the top of the rankings again, where he belongs.

Good luck Peter!

Re: Peter Polansky

There was some very winnable matches for qualifiers - Jouan, Yani, or Walter. Only Ignatik worries me for Peter's game.

Re: Peter Polansky

draw is made but the weather wont let up

they havent even played the first round of qualies yet and its going to be tuesday tommorrow

in my mind, with the weather report it will be a miracle if they can even start let alone finish by sunday

this is really awful for all of those players who planned on using this as a warm up to the AO
