Missing from the list above are Mylnikov and Belair getting into main draw in Tampa Futures as LL. Belair won his first round match to earn his first ATP ranking point.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Jecminek into the semis, knocking off a seed by a 6-3, 6-2 scoreline. A rematch with El Mihdawy awaits.

Krainik nearly joined him, losing his match 6-0, 3-6, 3-6.

Re: Canadian Players 2

some pretty impressive scorelines from Di Feo & Peliwo in Greece .. and they both play unseeded opponents in Qs ... if they win, they play eachother in semis.

Re: Canadian Players 2

It's been a good two weeks after not much was happening in the futures for a while, its realistic to think that we might have 5 semi finalists.

Jecminek lost 7-6 6-7 6-2 today. Very close against a higher ranked player which is nice to see.

Jecminek will have a doubles super tiebreak to play tomorrow to see if he can win the doubles title.

Diez into the final. Peliwo lost.

Also my favorite Canadian woman's player into her first pro final. Carol Zhao.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Pospisil is in the second bracket with Dancevic, could meet in the third round of qualifying (but neither will make it).

Diez and Polansky are in the same section of the draw as well and could play each other in the second round of qualifying, also unlikely.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Also, we have Peliwo against Di Feo in the first round, winner almost surely will get number 1 seed Jamie Baker in the QFs.

Antoine Richard plays an unseeded player in the first round.

Of course, Jecminek got the #2 seed in Mexico.
