Jecminek is the one low ranked Canadian who I feel could move up the rankings if he gave the pro game another go.

He won his 2nd round and is in the quarters. Good job to him.

also, this guy Antoine Richard, who has been trying out the pro circuit in Turkey for the past year or so, got his first ATP point. solid work, since a year ago he was barely winning rounds in qualifying...

steven lost in the first round to andrey kuznetsov in trnava

was going to be a tough ask for him since andrey has been playing really well
