Re: Canadian Players 2

Sorry guys.. haven't been able to pay attention because of all that has been going on here in Norway. The country is still in mourning.

Hopefully many of the Canadian players will be ready for RC. I know it seems unlikely for Milos, but hopefully Vasek and the rest will be ready.

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Diez beat Peliwo, kinda surprised actually. Sounds like Peliwo has a bit of a wrist injury.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Canadian Players 2

Di Feo beats the 8th seed, very good win for him.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Di Feo d. Racz, 7-5, 6-3. (The guy has been having a wretched year, but still a great win for Di Feo)

Diez d. Peliwo, 6-1, 6-1 (! scoreline, maybe Peliwo was really hampered by his wrist injury)

El Tabakh d. Rotaru, 6-1, 6-4

And Pospisil's ankle held up fine for a 6-3, 6-2 defeat of an unranked Kiwi.

Thanks for your support. It means a lot. I still can't believe all those kids died just because of one crazy guy. It's just so sad

Where are the Canadian players playing this week? Is there a future in Canada?

Re: Canadian Players 2

There certainly is and most of the lesser (for now) canadian players are there. The bigger names are not playing this week, but it isn't because they aren't but because they can't (injured)

Re: Canadian Players 2

Good effort too by Di Feo, even if he lost, getting to 3rd set TB.

But Vasek is in Saskatoon for the future, right?

Re: Canadian Players 2

Emeraldhands is forgetting that Vasek is one of our biggest names now, at least in terms of rankings.
