This can't last, but I see that Peliwo is up 5-0 against the top seed in qualies at Granby, Aarts - an ex-college guy, who has yet to win a point on his serve (despite serving at 75%). (I sort of wonder whether they have got the scoreboard the wrong way around!)

Re: Canadian Players 2

Are you at the tournament? How can I see live scores of the granby qualies?

Aarts isn't good at all but he's also not this terribly bad

Re: Canadian Players 2

I wonder if his back is hurt and he is serving underarm (he's down 1-6, 0-3 and won a total of 7 points on serve!).

For future reference, the scoreboards for the challengers (if they have them) can be found by going on to the ATP page, and choosing Challengers under Tournaments (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tourname...nger-Tour.aspx). The Live Scores are on the Quick Links at the right.

Re: Canadian Players 2

I have a question but it could be a little early. If Milos is the first success of the NTC is it safe to say that Nicolai is the first failure? I mean he hasn't really done anything and now he is only playing in Europe.

And Peliwo wins 6-1, 6-0. There must have been something wrong with Aarts.

Why do you say that - Filip is a feast or famine type of player - when he is hot, he's hot.

I watched the Tiago win in Rolland Garros and he out played him; the guy wasn't injured at all, just "using tricks."

Re: Canadian Players 2

Filip is a very good player, and I could see him being in the top 300 in 2 or 3 years, but this win just doesn't make sense.

Well, I would be happy to hear that Filip destroyed an in-form Aarts, but it just seems to me that someone like Aarts should be able to win a few more points on serve, whoever he is playing against. He won just 30% of 1st serves - that really is unnaturally bad.

But I note that he lost his last match - 0-6, 1-6 (against someone ranked 705).

Re: Canadian Players 2

From what I heard, Aarts was serving well - some serves reaching 120mph.
