Re: Canadian Players 2

Young Abanda just won the Raquette D'or in Morocco which is a G2 event. This will put her in the top 100 in juniors and is the highest ranked player born in 1997? Could she be the real deal? She seems to be the better of the two Abanda sisters so far.

He use to be ranked in the top 500 two years ago. Could this be a real comeback from him if he got a WC. If so, very exciting

Soo exciting.

Good draw for Vasek. Hope he doesn't withdraw.

Real shot here for Diez, Pospisil, Peter and Erik for the second round and Pospisil for the QFs, maybe Erik too.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

Re: Canadian Players 2

5 points goes to 2 Canadians from the qualifying for Grandy. Hopefully Peliwo and whoever Tousignant is can pick up points as well.

Re: Canadian Players 2

I was trying to find any evidence of White having played Pospisil in juniors. They both competed in Nationals here http://www.tennisontario.com/Tournam...door+Nationals

But obviously Pospisil was a step above.

Either way I think that Pospisil should be in the quarter-finals, potentially the semi's, and who knows maybe the finals if the support is good enough. I think Chvojka could make a good run here too. Diez and Polansky are gonna be second round knockouts in my opinion, and I doubt any of the qualifiers will pick up a win, maybe Peliwo/Re could beat Antoinne Benneteau.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Pokrajac Where on earth did this come from? Hopefully this really does mean he's making a comeback if they gave him a WC. He made the semis here in 2007 as a qualifier which was like an out-of-nowhere result. Good luck to him!

Good luck to the rest as well. Pospisil's got a great draw and hoping to see Peter and Erik make a nice run too.

Re: Canadian Players 2

Could Pokrajac be coming back from some sort of nasty injury that has sidelined him the last two years?

Re: Canadian Players 2

Huge matches tomorrow for the qualifiers, two Canadians are going to get DE/high seeding to qualifying to USA Future events for an entire year. For that reason alone, I don't want Berard to win, I don't think he will travel as much as Leduc.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo
