Re: Frank Dancevic

Oh dear. Frank lost in the first round to Scott Oudsema, who is ranked 537 in the world.

No, that was not a typo. 537.

My hopes that Frank could become a mainstay in the top 100 are about gone.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Frank has a new coach. Maybe this will turn things around. Leonardo Lavalle of Mexico will start working with him in two weeks.
Lavalle, 41, won the Wimbledon juniors boys' title in 1985 and is probably one of the best players ever to come out of Mexico. He represented his country in Davis Cup for 15 years (3-1 against Canadians in two ties - beating Andrew Sznajder, Sébastien Lareau and Stéphane Bonneau, losing to Martin Wostenholme).

He reached a high of No. 51 in singles (in 1986) and No. 23 in doubles (in 1992) in about a dozen years on the ATP Tour. He reached the round of 16 at the 1989 Australian Open, and the third round of the French Open that same year. In doubles, he had two semi-finals at the French Open, and went semis-semis-finals at Wimbledon from 1989-91. He also was a quarter-finalist at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

Frank has a new coach

Both person won a Wimbledon junior titles. Frank won at doubles and Leonardo Lavalle won at singles. That's so interesting relation ship.

There is one proposal. Please cut the hair ahead of that. Be a gentleman
Do you study Spanish on this occasion ?

Anyway, good luck Frank and Leonardo.

Re: Frank Dancevic

I think that he is at the time of tactically and technical changing. It thinks while challenging for the leap in the future if it is not possible to win so that even the challenger may win if it does usually.

It is endurance now. Good luck 2009

Re: Frank Dancevic

let's be positive guys
at least he's doing well in doubles. he's into the quarters with lapentti!

but yeah he's been playing pretty bad lately it seems
I'll be extremely happy if he can win a couple more matches before the season's over for him
