Re: Frank Dancevic

Frank got LL Simone Bolelli as his first round draw. Definitely winnable if his qualy form continues!

It also happens to be right next to Milos! But Frank would play Andy Murray in R2 were he to win so I seriously doubt a Frank-Milos R3 is going to happen.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Bolelli's been quite solid on clay this year..

If the courts truly are faster, then I'd give Dancevic a chance

Re: Frank Dancevic

Perfectly fine draw for Frank, certainly a winnable match if he continues playing as well as he did in qualies. Getting Murray R2 is unfortunate, but considering he's never won an ATP MD match on clay, even making it that far would be a big success.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Bolelli is one of the best opponents Frank could have got along with Brown, the Q-Q match, or ERV. I'm more than pleased

lets also remember that Murray struggles with (north) american qualifiers in round 2 this year, see IW and Miami

That rule hasn't applied to RG until this year, so that really is a big step forward.

Also unprecedented is him signing up for clay tourneys after RG, although I fear he will now be forced to withdraw from Alessandria next week

Late to the party but just wanted to congratulate Frank
He's already exceeded all of our expectations on his worst surface so anything more would be bonus!

Re: Frank Dancevic

Interesting snippet of information from Tebbutt:

"Dancevic is at Roland Garros without a coach, but is being supported by Canadian Davis Cup captain Martin Laurendeau".

So Laurendeau is no longer his coach, but is there to support him? Kind of calls out for some clearer explanation.

I know but be careful saying that here, most posters are in love with him.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Frank is winning just 40% of points on his own serve Where did this come from after playing so well in the qualys?
