Re: Frank Dancevic

This could be terrible for Frank, really hasn't been the same since the start of 2008 when the injuries began.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Soeda has had three BP's... and converted them all.

Frank is 1 for 6.

6-2 Soeda first set.

I hope Frank enjoys challengers, because its increasingly clear he'll probably never achieve a level again where he's playing ATP tour level events on a regular basis.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Even though Frank has the second most points of any Canadian this year, I just don't see him as the second best for some reason. Ya he can erupt and have a few good weeks here and there, but it will take a monumental turnaround for him to ever get back in the top 100 imo.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Great comeback for Frank. The 1-1 game in the third set was the gamechanger. Frank needed 3 break points to break Soeda. When he won that hard game, this was over.

I definitely think Frank can be top 100 again. And in fact, I think he will be by the end of the year. He has absolutely nothing insurmountable to defend through the entire schedule. And now, a time of the year he performs well is coming up, grass. He's already gaining positions with this run this week, and a SF will put him inside the top 180, and around 200 points from top 100, which isn't much. I'm excited for Frank's opportunities.
