Re: Frank Dancevic

Those 15 aces are low for Frank, I feel his serve is not where it was (only looking at stats for his comeback)

Re: Frank Dancevic

reallY?

those serving stats are pretty good for me but i guess there's a difference in being able to serve well inj qualifying and challengers then there is in the main draw.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Kinda confused on the amount of points he is getting here. I thought for making the main draw you get 12 points and not five. Can someone clarify on this please?

Re: Frank Dancevic

Looking at last year's tournament, a player who qualified and then lost first round got 5 points. I would assume that nothing will change this year. Queen's is such a messed-up tournament, a 56-draw 250

Looking at his qualy stats, it's a mixed bag. His serve stats aren't that good, but he's been returning quite well. Of course, his opponents haven't exactly been world-beaters. Still, he's definitely got a chance at a couple of wins.

what the hell is so bad about 64 and 71% first serve? when players aim for 60% i would think those numbers are great

unless his normal percent is in the 80's then yeah that is bad

The numbers aren't bad overall, but they're relatively low for Frank, especially given that they were three straight-set wins over lesser players. If you look at his stats from Eastbourne and Indy last year, in his wins he was generally around 60% in and 80% winning on the first serve. Of course, it doesn't really matter, given that it's just qualies. I'm probably just overanalyzing

Re: Frank Dancevic

Hey everybody, I made an online photo gallery with all the pics of Frank we've collected since this thread started. You can find it here:

Frank Dancevic Photo Gallery

It's organized simply by title name which I realize is not ideal but it will do for now. Also, if I have mislabelled any photo just let me know and I will fix it. I've been thinking about making a sort of fan site for Frank but I haven't gotten around to it so this is a start, we'll see how it goes. Thanks!!

It's far from complete so if anyone has any pictures they'd like to add they are free to do so. When you are in the gallery just click on the "upload" button at the top and you can add your own photo. Any help is much appreciated!!

He use to get many more aces as well, an average of 5 a match on grass is quite low.

His return game isn't great so he needs to serve well.

That's an understatement! By far the weakest part of his game.

Glad to see him back and winning, this has been a pretty lonely thread for the past year!!

Re: Frank Dancevic

Frank is on court now; had to save a couple of BPs in his first game, hopefully not a sign of things to come.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Frank Had points to go up 4*-0 in the first, but ended up losing the set 5-7
