Disappointing but then again Berankis isnt a stiff and has had a decent run of form of late. Hopefully this match helped Frank get his timing and fitness back up a notch.

Is he playing the Queens qualies or another challenger next?

Queens qualies I believe.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Tough for Frank, but yeah, it was no easy matchup right off the bat. Good to see him back

I'd assume he'll maximize his grass play, qualies in England and then Newport. Hopefully, he'll be able to make some noise, with his Eastbourne points set to come off in a couple of weeks.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Good stuff from Frank today, two straight set wins. Beat Hensel 6-3 6-4, without facing a BP, then took out Sa 6-4 7-5. He'll have Daniel Cox, a young Brit who hasn't done much this season, for a spot in the MD.

There are some VERY winnable matches for qualifiers... he would either get Malisse, Dimitrov, Lu, or Brown in round 1

hope he gets dimitrov or brown then because lu and malisse are the tougher of the 2

..then again dimitrov seems to raise his game for bigger events

Re: Frank Dancevic

Great to see Frank won his third round 6-4, 6-3, though a little worrying that he gave up 3 service breaks. Hopefully he can get his serve under better control for his first round match.

Re: Frank Dancevic

dustin brown then denis istomin

count on him making the 3rd round before he falls to nadal

infact, given his draw anything less then the 3rd round is a MASSIVE dissapointment

I agree, but we do have to remember this is his second tournament back after a major injury.

Peter Polansky
Nestor - Chvojka - Pospisil - Raonic - Peliwo

thats true but looking at his stats you would never know it

he served 71% twice and 64% the third game

he had a total of about 15 aces in the 3 matches
