Re: Frank Dancevic

Hopefully you're wrong about it determining the match

Frank might come to rue those 3 missed BP chances

But he's served well so far this set, so he should be OK

Re: Frank Dancevic

Haas manages to hold, only 2 out of 9 break points for Frank, if he is given another one he must take it.

Frank 40-0 up at the moment on serve and is looking by far the better player at the moment via livescores.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Sigh, he'd cruised at serve until 3*-3, then played a crappy game, down a break late

Re: Frank Dancevic

I think this one might be gone, i called it and said whoever got that game would take the match. Frank is a player that thrives on confidence and now I really think he should book his ticket back to Canada.

I was so sure he would lose today I was considering a huge bet on Haas, however loyalty wouldnt let me and I diddnt. I really thought when he got the 2nd set he had a great chance as well such a shame.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Again deuce for Frank but he cant put Haas away.

The story of the match and many of Franks matches is oppertunities.

Haas 40% of break points won compared with 22% of Franks.

These are the kind of matches that put you into the top 50.

Frank needs a really lucky draw in Canada, hopefully a WC or Q then a lucky winner in the 2nd round so he can pick up a fair amount of points!

Re: Frank Dancevic

On the bright side, closer than last time at least.

Losses like this don't annoy me as much as the straight set defeats against say Bobby Reynolds.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Oh well

Frank played a good match, but just couldn't get it done when he had chances in the third. Disappointing

Well said. The real killers are losses like Frank's against Darcis and Stakhovsky on grass, this one is at least a respectable defeat.

Hopefully he can take some confidence into Montreal with a solid performance.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Tough one. Hard to really analyze anything having not seen the match. When Haas is dialed in he is top 5 material so even if this wasn't Tommy's best night, still an encouraging sign.

Let's not forget that this spring Frank lost consecutive matches in Challengers to opponents outside the top 200. He has really turned his year around, nice to see.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Even if he lost, I think Frank has been playing better lately I'm confident he'll go at least as far as the QF in Montreal provided he gets a decent draw
