Re: Milos Raonic

Didn't see this posted before, but Milos was on TSN's Off the Record earlier this week. Yet again, he did pretty well. Love that he said he'd boo Bosh

Re: Milos Raonic

yep, just watched that about 10 minutes ago

Did you guys read the FeVer quote on the TSN.ca story?

"For me that's not a real match in tennis," Verdasco said. "I hope to play soon against him in clay court to show him what it is to play tennis, and play rallies, and run, and not only serve."

Nando is such a sore loser? It's not tennis if it's not on clay?

Re: Milos Raonic

I'd like to congratulate Milos for his back to back wins over Fernando Verdasco.

And as a fan even, Fernando's comments about Milos after both losses have been stupid and embarrassing for his fans.

Re: Milos Raonic

Being a fan of Nando these days is hell I'm so embarrassed and ashamed of what Nando said post-match. I understand it's tough losing to the same guy twice in a row. But why not be the bigger man and rise above it instead of coming with bullshit excuses?

It just seems like Milos brings out the worst in Nando, because he's already bad in tiebreaks, and Milos usually ends up winning those. Then he's a sore loser, and Milos also brings that to rear its ugly head.. my god

Congrats to Milos though. Another good win here He definitely has his chance against Stepanek if he's not too tired and/or fatigued. Good luck, Milos!

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

LOL.. I still don't understand that. In my eyes, he is both Montenegrin and Canadian. Of course, where you were born will always have a big place in someone's heart. But he has lived in Canada since he was THREE years old! He grew up there, went to school there, had his tennis career there. To me, that seems like he's truly Canadian.

Honestly, I wouldn't claim someone as one of ours if I found out someone was born in Norway but moved somewhere else when he/she was three years old. Then to me he belongs to his or hers new country. It's just too stupid to claim someone as one of theirs when Milos has lived moth of his life in Canada. But whatever, this is just imo.

Great victory for Milos, Verdasco must be pissed off for losing again to "all serve mug"

WOW. Are you kidding me Fer? Well you just made a fool out of yourself, and just showed how immature you are in front of the whole world. Even Milos is more professional then you. No respect at all.

Commentator on Sportsnet (Pat McEnroe?):

about Raonic getting the most publicity in Canada since Mike Weir won the Masters:

"That just shows how little they had to celebrate on the sporting scene in Canada"

What a dumbass

Raonic is unbelievable so far , even Steps sexyiness doesn't intimidate Milos. One hell of a player.

6-4 Milos first set. Broke Radek twice, was broken once. 75% first serve percentage

Re: Milos Raonic

Ouch - Milos had four match points in the second set breaker and just lost it 12-10...

With the ridiculous scheduling of playing last night-today, hopefully he continues to fight considering also he's been playing non stop for 6 weeks.

didn`t get to follow the TB, how many of those MPs were on his serve?

Hopefully he can pull out another third set match, but he's gotta wear out sooner or later.
