Re: Milos Raonic

I know there's no real way to fix it, but I don't like that Raonic defended his title and still moved down 3 spots in this weeks rankings....

Re: Milos Raonic

Good game from Milos today... so 2moro Milos vs. Becker who is ranked 284 in the world 2 moros game starts at 4pm

Isner lost his game so the highest ranked player is Radek Stepnek lol ranked #28 in the world!

This tournament is Milos!

My only question is can a ATP 500 competition get any easier lol?

Re: Milos Raonic

I think it'd be foolish to underestimate Melzer if he's at the finals.

I watched him against Isner and he made mincemeat out of Isner's serves.

Re: Milos Raonic

Pretty easily dismissed Becker 4 and 4, final tomorrow at 4EST vs Melzer. I think that the final is very important for his ranking as well, as it would put him 19th for the IW seeding (and essentially there for Miami), which should keep him away from the top 4 until the QF.

Yes I totally agree! Todays final game will perhaps be the biggest game in his career for confidence purposes. If he wins a ATP500 he will believe that he can atleast do some damage in ATP1000 and Grand Slams where he has struggled.

As well as yes he will be in the Top 20 which he hasn't done yet.

LETS GO MILOS!

Re: Milos Raonic

looks like Milos might just miss out on being a top 24 seed for Indian Wells, currently he's 25th in live rankings and a handful of others lower ranked could pass him before the week is over.

This means providing he gets through his 2nd round match, he's likely to face a top 8 player in R3.

Re: Milos Raonic

If he stays at 25 he should get it because Monfils is going to withdraw I think. Here are the players who could pass him and what they need to do to do so

Wawrinka - Beat Ramos today
Verdasco - make Acapulco Semis
Chela - Make Acapulco Semis
Roddick - Make Delray Beach Final
Youzhny - Make Dubai Final
Kohlschrieber - Win Delray Beach
Berlocq - Win Acapulco
Andujar - Win Acapulco

The only one of those which is likely is Wawrinka, he should be Ramos today. Verdasco plays Chela, so the winner of that would have to win their QF which is probably against Almagro. Roddick in current form likely won't make the final of Delray Beach. Youzhny won't beat Federer, and Tsonga/Del Potro. And Kohlschreiber, Berlocq, or Andujar winning their tournaments this week would be a massive longshot.

if Wawrinka passes him, are there any other top 24 players besides Monfils likely to withdraw?

Now he is down to #27, so top 8 in the third round. Del Potro will move to #8 if he beat Federer tonight
