Outside shot that we could have the dream matchup of Ivo vs. Isner in the semis.
Ivo plays Querrey in R2 and Llodra withdrew.I can see him getting to the SF's,but Stepanek will be very tough to beat on grass.Anyway,Ivo can do it.

Now that's a wonderful piece of news The draw is shaping up a bit. Now Monfils please beat Stepanek! and of course Ivo don't blow it (AGAIN) against Querrey !

Stepanek withdrew this morning too.
Ivo needs to win this now.

Yes 16-14!!! Wow, I was having flashbacks to the French Open loss and to last years loss to Querrey when Ivo didn't close out the 2nd TB when he was up 6-3. Great win though. Nice to see the draw opening up too! There's a real chance for Ivo to win another title here this year.

Great win today and he should get an easy win tomorrow against Seppi, Monfils could be tricky but I believe Ivo will beat him too, and in final hopefully Marin but it could also be Verdasco. It indeed does look good for Ivo to win this now.

Re: ~Ivo Karlovic*["King Karlo"]*Thread!~

Ivo must beat Seppi today, but it will be certainly Monfils on his road in SF. And Ivo has never beaten the french player. No confrontation on grass, but Monfils will could be his more difficult opponents of this tournament.

Monfils today. Ajmo Ivo
In Wimbledon a solid draw, Stadler and Belucci/Kunitsyn in the first 2 rounds then it could be Baghdatis who's also very beatable nowadays. Hopefully he manages to get to the 2nd week this year

Yes, I really like the Wimbledon draw. I remember last year Ivo was kicking ass at Nottingham and then I saw the Wimbledon draw and knew he was in deep shit. This time I saw the draw and had a big smile. Best quarter to be in would have been Daveydenko's I think, but I'd much rather be in there with Djoker than with Fed or Nadal. And on top of that, with the early round matchups I can realistically see Ivo going that far, and I tend to be a pessimist.

Simon Stadler isn't easy match up for ivo. He already pushed him to the third set twice . i hope he gets past firt round.

But first he will play against verdasco tommorow.
Go Ivo

Yes, exactly he needs to focus on Verdasco first.

Stadler is a left hander qualifier that will be tricky, they will play monday so only sunday off.

In the second round, Kunitsyn is known as a very good returner so Bellucci although being a leftie should be an easier opponent.

Re: ~Ivo Karlovic*["King Karlo"]*Thread!~

I'm glad Ivo won, he really needed it. He's had an OK but not great 2008 so far (best result is Rotterdam SF). Also, he was defending *a lot* of points this week.

Good luck to Ivo at Wimbledon. He has a good draw and is defending only 5 points so it's an excellent chance for him to move up the rankings, maybe even to a career-high spot.
