Re: Brydan Klein: Australia's Big Hope
Third consecutive futures final loss for Brydan and all to different opponents. This week in Wellington Brydan will once again be the number one seed and the only players who would seem to get in Brydan's way will probably be Rieschick (number 2 seed) again, Michael Venus(3rd seed) and perhaps to a lesser extent Sam Groth.
Although Brydan isn't winning these tournaments he is being very consistent lately and that is exactly what he wants coming into the Aussie summer. His ranking isn't really an issue at this point because being ranked 225 and being ranked 195 doesn't have a huge difference at all. It will be interesting to see if Brydan can make a forth consecutive final this week which is definitely do-able given the field and Brydan most likely being fired up again after losing a final once again.
Brydan will then take the week of Trarlgon off and prepare for the final Aussie future of the year in Bendigo. In Bendigo he will be joined by a strong field that includes Lindahl, Lemke, Klec, Rieschick, Venus, Groth, Ebelthite, Chvojka and Udomchoke. I doubt Brydan will have a chance at winning that one but should be a good test seeing as he will most likely be the number one seed again.
