Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread

Jamie and Eric are playing in Washington (Andy's still not well ) They play Todd Perry/Wesley Moodie in the first round, and could potentially meet the Bryan brothers in R2/QF.

Here's the full doubles draw.

Re: Jamie 'Stretch' Murray thread

They lost in the first round of to Moodie/Perry, 6-7 6-2 10-6 it's becoming a really familiar scoreline...

Surely i aint the only one thinking that this partnership is nearing it's end? Too many bad results can dent confidnence for a long time

The BBC have just put it up on their website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/6925726.stm

It will be interesting to see who Jamie next teams up with. I presume that he will try and play with Andy in some of the upcoming tournaments [obv. if Andys wrist is upto it..] but he will eventually need a regular partner...
My vote is for Bob Bryan...

A girl from Andy's site suggested that Henman does a Navratilova and pair up with Jamie!

Not a bad idea... Henman would probably make a pretty handy dubs player...

Tim would need a new nickname though... 'Stretch & Tiger' ?

Lmao! Genius...

I wonder what Eric's going to do now... he's not exactly at the start of his career and I always considered him the lesser player of the two so he'll probably find it harder to attract a competent partner...
