Doesn't work like that, purely based on team performance, together..

Doesn't it work literally like the word sounds: Eric's doubles ranking + Jamie's doubles ranking, then it's compared to the rest of the field? If it's purely based on team performance then how did Aspelin/Knowle get seeded seventh in Monte Carlo given that they only have a 3-2 record together?

I believe only the Race rankings are team-specific, but qualifying for a tournament main draw is based on the players' combined rankings.

On a more cheerful note: Eric and Jamie are the tournament bloggers for Barcelona next week!

Sorry buddy, by combined ranking I assumed you meant their ranking together in the team race.

Good to see that they will be blogging, though!

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Oh yes... I forgot to mention this:

Jamie and Eric are getting their own official website (which, apparently, is being set up by one of Eric's friends) at http://www.bootyandstretch.com/

Still a work in progress... but looks awesome

UPDATE:
The blog is up, my friends!

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Jamie's taking a couple of weeks off; he'd be back a week before Roland Garros.
