Re: Jamie Murray thread

I was a little surprised to see Jamie now playing with Dunlop rackets - I suppose his success of late has earned him even more rewards, such as a sponsorship!

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Jamie's playing the first reverse singles against Robin Haase. Greg's retired and they want to rest Andy.. So I guess it makes sense.

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Jamie lost in three sets but a good effort nonetheless.. Henman won the final rubber so GB wins 4-1 overall

Awesome result today! Does Eric have any british blood in him? We could do with a world class doubles team! lol

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Jamie is now truly a hardcore doubles player - his last singles points dropped off this week so he no longer has a ranking in that!

Jamie and Booty play unseeded Behrend/Wassen second match on Pista 2 from 12 noon today. Wassen will want his revenge, no doubt!

Re: Jamie Murray thread

Jamie and Booty lost to Brehrend/Wassen in straight sets, 6-3 7-6(3). Rain delay interrupted the match at 2*-5 in the first set; the boys held on to their serve after play resumed but lost the set.

They were broken early in the second but showed great guts by breaking back while the opponents were serving for the match at 4-5*. The match was taken to a second-set tiebreak but unfortunately today was not their day.

If I'm not mistaken Jamie is playing in Monte Carlo with Andy as his combined ranking with Eric isn't high enough to qualify them for the main draw. Hoping for better results there

Re: Jamie Murray thread

I imagine a problem with Andy - the boys retired after losing the first set tiebreak 6-7(1).
