But he played well in the dead rubber against Wawrinka, a very close match.

Re: Alan Mackin

Great idea for a thread!

Alan works very hard and is a true gentleman so it is nice that a thread is dedicated to him.

Anyone know where he goes next?

Re: Alan Mackin

Thought you might like to know he's in the last quali round for a tour level tourney this week. Some guys spoke to him when he visited my club last week. He found playing Federer interesting Bit of understatement there I think!

Re: Alan Mackin

Great win for Alan today over Wessels who is ranked 100 (over 100 places above Alan). Hopefully he can qualify.

Re: Alan Mackin

Congrats Alan Another main draw. He had a great win over Koubek in the qualifying 7-6 in the 3rd set that was one of the best of his career. Good luck in the first round Alan and keep rising up the rankings

6-1 6-3 Unlucky Alan.

I guess he doesn't seem to like playing indoors in Switzerland. Didn't collect many games in the Davis Cup either.

Mind you, he lost to Baghdatis, who seems to be in a purple patch at the moment, having got to the semis! Makes Alan's loss seem a little more bearable.

Re: Alan Mackin

How did he lose to such a loser as this Baghdatis person... (oh the joys of hindsight lol)

Anymore news on the progress of Mackin, any recent good results?

P.S Does mackin happen to have an official/unofficial website?
