So who are the best of the Brits?

Excluding Murray as that's a given.

Evans had a good run at the US Open and a couple of decent Davis Cup results but otherwise he's been very poor since the US Open.

Ward has been on and off but he did get to a challenger final in Australia a couple of weeks ago, lost 0-6 7-5 0-6 to Ebden though.

Then we get people outside the top 200 like Cox, Corrie, Alex Ward, Klein, Rice, Milton etc.

What do you think?

Andy Hardray

Wawrinka - Kokkinakis - Simon - Ferrer - Nishikori

Fognini - Paire - Evans

Re: So who are the best of the Brits?

What a first round for the British players at Champaign challenger.

Corrie, Rice, Milton and Smethurst (who beat the world number140 something) all through to the next round.

Kyle Edmund mark this, hes 349 atm. Taking claycourters like Bedene to a final set tiebreak.
Just wait till he developes. Unlucky draw against Janowicz in Wimby, but still winning 8 games

Sir Murray Wimbledon Champion,US Champion and ,Olympic Gold.

I'm amazed we've got a player who can seemingly move on clay. Outrageous scenes.

Re: So who are the best of the Brits?

So, I can only find 2 Brits playing challengers next week. Alexander Ward and James Ward (6) are both playing over in Japan. Klein and Gabb lost out in the Qualifying draw.

Here is the PDF of the draw. http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2013/4042/mds.pdf

Should be fairly straight forward for James but I think Alex will struggle.

Re: So who are the best of the Brits?

James season is pretty much over already, why don't he just take some rest and trained for the AO qualies.
