Promising Juniors

It seems to me that this year we have had a reasonable amount of success in the Juniors and that we can expect a fair few to graduate sucessfully onto the main tour.

Listed below are all the 17,18 and 19 year olds who have already managed to earn points, alongside their current ranking and age.
Andrew Murray and Miles Kasiri have notably had the most attention this year; does anybody else have an opinion about who else may have a bright future ahead ???

Re: Promising Juniors

Apart from Andy Murray, this is such depressing reading. It almost makes me want to give up on my new interest in following our current batch of juniors. But it is going to be different this time. Really.

Re: Promising Juniors

normally we get one half decent player a generation, though Kyle Edmund will probably fullfill that

Murray wins Wimbledon 2016 after Djokovic is blue shelled by Querrey. Thanks Querrey!

Re: Promising Juniors

Shame Golding packed it in, he looked a bright prospect initially but didn't really go on. Edmund will probably be a top 50 play at max, I'm not convinced by him at all. Broady is a player I like with regards to attitude might hit the top 100 one day but that's about it. Bad times for British Tennis.
